Kimberlea has been a great friend of mine for many years. She was an awesome model to show off our b-wear, and has now become the spokesmodel for b-roll.net. Even though she's not a professional model, Kimberlea obviously could be.
Kimberlea and I met when she began working as a Production Assistant at WVEC-TV in Norfolk, VA. She had studied all aspects of television while attending college in Canada, and wanted to be a sports reporter (she digs the ice hockey). An awesome student, she learned how to shoot, and put together a great sports demo tape.
She shifted gears a little, and her career continued as a PA and on-line Avid editor at the local PBS affiliate in Norfolk. Setting up lights and sets with grace, strength, and a great sense of humor, everyone loved working with Kimberlea. You can't beat her infectious laugh.
A caring and creative spirit pushed her to pursue a totally different career. She left television all together and worked diligently to be licensed as a Certified Massage Therapist (exactly who hardworking shooters need to visit on a regular basis).
Meeting the love of her life, she moved to DC to be with him. She now helps people with their aches and pains in DC. Kimberlea and her husband married in the fall of 2001 (sorry guys).
With much bribery, I was able to get Kimberlea to come back down to Norfolk for a photo shoot. The images are amazing, and will begin appearing on b-roll.net in the near future. STAY TUNED!
