PRESS RELEASE
Anton/Bauer
Announces New TITAN TWIN Charger
Anton/Bauer, the worldwide standard® in portable power for the video industry today announced the release of the latest in its new TITAN line of products. The TITAN TWIN is the companion to the TITAN 70 combination camera/power supply released earlier this year.
The sleek design of the TITAN has been applied to the TITAN TWIN charger making it the lightest and smallest charger Anton/Bauer has ever produced. Its high impact plastic enclosure will stand up to the most rugged use. Its universal wide range mains input (90-250 VAC 50/60Hz) makes it the ideal travel charger. Like all Anton/Bauer products, TWIN meets all applicable standards including CE and FCC requirements.
TITAN TWIN features the same exclusive state-of-the-art charge termination techniques of Anton/Bauer InterActive® chargers with the added advantage of charging two batteries at the same time! TWIN will charge two ProFormer batteries in one hour, two TrimPacs or HyTRON 50s in two hours, two ProPacs in three hours, or two HyTRON 100 in 5 hours.
The exclusive Anton/Bauer Lifesaver® maintenance routine keeps all batteries fully charged until ready for use.
The TITAN TWIN is chemistry independent and capable of upgrade with a simple chip replacement as new battery technologies are introduced. Batteries are automatically identified by the charger and addressed with a charge routine specifically designed for that battery to reliably and safely optimize battery performance and service life.
The TITAN TWIN carries a list price of US $695 (€ 820euro) and is available through Anton/Bauer dealers and distributors throughout the world.
