So – had some video passed to me from a local news photog. He shot on DVCam in 16:9 and then dumped from his card to mini-dv.

I get the mini-dv and play back on (an older) Sony DVCam deck and I get 4:3.

I suspect it may be a combination of him shooting digital with a fairly new camera and I’m playing back on an eight year old deck.

He can’t dump down to any other medium (flash card/SD card). I still need to get this back to 16:9.

Can I do this in editing (have Premiere Pro)?
