Fox Movietone News crew no. 26 out of Seattle freezing their behinds off on Mt Rainier’s Nisqually Glacier shooting a story about an expedition of scientists on the mountain on June 8, 1930.

Eric Mayell was the cameraman and Jim Forman was the soundman. And yes they had to pack all that sound news gear you see up from the parking lot at Paradise.

No word if Jim Forman then was a yellow-parka-wearing ratings machine though…
