I recently bought the Sony F3 and I have been very happy with it. I have 4 Zeiss zf prime lenses that look great. On multiple occasions I have had to rent a 17 to 35mm and a 80 – 200mm zoom lens.
These lenses are available on Ebay from $600 to $1200 which is a far cry from the cost of my other B4 mount lenses.
My question is how do we bill for all these lenses. I am currently charging the same as my HDX-900 which is $1,500.00 for a 10 hour door to door day. The cost of the camera, with all the odds and ends and 4 primes, came to around 28k. I charged $50 per zoom lens on a recent job and the client was a little put off, but did eventually agree to pay for them.
I would just like to get a feel for what everyone else is thinking.
