Had a question about this camera. Don’t know if anyone knows. The new Sony HXR-MC2000U, I think they made it to shoot on SD cards. Anyone know how it is with Final Cut. Do you have to convert the file before editing.

I shoot with the JVC GY-HM 700U and 100U’s for stringer/freelance news. As well as other stuff. Love that I can pull the card, put it in the Mac’s and edit ASAP or email to stations on the fly.

But a friend is looking at these for weddings and such. She asked, I don’t know much about them…. She edits with Final cut on I mac and Macbook pro.
