With the duo in Bend, Oregon, who were trying to attempt a cluster balloon flight that has been in the news in recent days – well some random trivia for my now larger audience.

The first participant of that activity who managed to make national headlines was an ABC News photog by the name of Al Mingalone who managed to get himself in a bit of a mishap during a manufactured story. Though at the time his runaway flight happened, Al was shooting for Paramount Sound News…TV was just a toy in a laboratory in 1937.
