Wrecked my Ford Escape (hit by a red light running TAXI driver) while covering the NBA All Star Game in Houston.

Wanted a Suburban as a replacement at first, but the gas mileage is horrible. Seriously looking at the Ford Transit Connect van, looks very roomy, and I can build shelves for my gear. Also looked at the Ford Flex SUV

Any suggestions?
