The other day I was trying to describe to a young 24-yr-old co-worker what it was like shooting on 3/4-inch format, that the record deck was a separate device from the camera, connected by a cable, etc. "REALLY?" -he said in amazement and surprise. Since then I’ve been wanting to show him a pic of what it looked like, but I can’t quite seem to find anything online when I do an image search. I never saved any of the pics of myself donning 3/4-inch gear back in the day. Does anyone know of a link to any pics online of news photographers from the late ’80s or early ’90s shooting with 3/4-inch? When I do a google image search for "3/4-inch format" the closest I can come is a shot of one of the decks that someone’s trying to sell on ebay, and when I search " shooting with 3/4-inch", I get a bunch of pictures of people shooting guns. UUUUGGGGHHHH.
