What’s the state of TV news where you are? It seems like the whole "quantity over quality" issue just keeps getting worse at stations around the country. I recently heard from an old friend who told me the new company mandate is that no packages are allowed to be over 1:00.

So, what are things like at your station? What’s the job like, and how much are they paying you and others in your market? Feel free to comment on places you’ve worked in the past…how much you made there, and if that was the driving factor in getting you to move on. I’m asking about money in particular because it seems like things have leveled out a bit since the huge push for MJs, but what we’re getting paid still doesn’t seem to be what it should.
