Flying with LiveU

Headed for Springfield, MA on US Airways with a brand new camera and our LiveU backpack. Was wondering how you pack the rest of your crap, what you take, and what you leave at home. I always carry the camera on, but I usually have my fanny pack loaded to the gills, and that’s it. I’m being told by my superiors to carry the LiveU on also, so I’m a little stumped as to how to get everything else loaded and ready to go, especially with the checked bag fees to consider. Thought about trying to get everything else into the new camera case. Also have a new Miller tripod that collapses pretty tight, so I’m pretty sure it will fit. The camera bag has a detachable two wheeled cart, but I don’t think my lights (one ColorTran Mini-Pro and one Lowel Tot-a-lght) will fit in there with my clothes, etc. Should have mentioned the camera bag is for the JVC GY-HM650U. Thoughts? Suggestions? Prayers? All are welcome.
