A thank-you to an anonymous reader for their delivery of a couple years worth of News Photographer magazine from the late 70s-early 80s as an addition to my slowly growing reference library of 100 years worth of motion picture/television photojournalism.

Its interesting and yet sad to look through them compared to the shell that News Photographer is today. One glaring example is the video articles among other topics were written by actual TV photographers and not newspaper photogs who discovered a feature on their dSLRs and decided to teach their colleagues all about the newly-discovered field of video instead of asking people who have 100 years of the craft being passed down behind them.
