With that said, I have a P2 camera whose viewfinder mount is extremely loose and cant figure out how to tighten it. You know that ring that allows you to adjust the distance the viewfinder is from the body? No matter how tight that is, the entire mount feels like it’s going to fall off and despite that ring lock being tight, the viewfinder slides freely which is rather irritating.
Is there a quick fix to this? With XDcams, it was pretty easy: just unscrew a few screws and tighten the locking screw from within. I can’t find anything like that here.
Also regarding the viewfinder, it’s color. Is there a way to turn it black and white? The LCD is color and my preference for the viewfinder is B&W. If there isn’t a way, it won’t kill me, I can just see contrast and peaking better in black and white if I need it for some reason (like adjusting back focus in the field).
