What could have been a great mini-documentary was effectively squandered by the person that shot it. A Great Voice features Hal Douglas, one of the top voiceover talents in the industry that recently passed away. Most of the elements, such as the inserts of his past work, were fine but the lack of lighting in the room and use of the camera mic was just intolerable. These observations were noted a few times by several people in the video’s comments section including another top voice talent, Joe Cipriano. As expected, they mostly criticized the audio. The shooter said it was done at the last minute so he didn’t have time to prepare.
