Hi all
I feel I have a very stupid question but I was wondering if any of you know what frame sync is and how to use it.

A lot of our live trucks have the option to frame sync on the side panel with sdi inputs and outputs but no one seems to know what it is.

Ive tried finagling around to see if maybe I could hook it up to my genlock or sdi but havent had any luck. The units in the trucks that controls these frame syncs are AJA Atem Blackmagic design.
