I have a small Joker 200 HMI I run all the time off a Harbor Freight 750 watt inverter in my van.

Have a client wanting to run two Joker 400’s off a car for a shoot. Major current draw here. K5600 advises to double the wattage for computing inverter size so that means a minimum of 1600 watts. I can rent an 1800w or buy a 2000w for around the same price.

Car batteries are not designed for this deep cycle kind of use and we could very well destroy
the battery and/or the alternator this way.

Cannot find a source for renting deep cycle or marine batteries and I know of no one who owns any I can use.

Thoughts or suggestions?
