I’m following a group who will be visiting the National Mall, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials, and the White House in a couple of weeks. I searched this forum for any advice on shooting in DC, and I read the restrictions on tripods on the capitol grounds. Are there any other restrictions that I should be aware of? Will I be allowed to follow my group inside the memorials with my XDCAM? I expect that I will be fine outside, hand-held, but I’m concerned about what I can do inside. How about the capitol? Do I need any permits for anything? Thanks.
