We have just had elections in New Zealand and while that was happening there was also a referendum on the voting system we use.
MMP looked like the clear winner so the people who had been campaigning for it invited the media down to a party to get their reaction as the results were officially announced and they would be cutting a special MMP cake.
So normal photo opp.
MMP won. Popping of Champagne, cutting of cake, hug’s and cheers etc.

So I’m just getting a close up of bubbles being poured into a glass when a woman next to me goes ballistic.
"Your a bit F***ING rude! Coming here and shoving your f***ing cameras in our f***ing faces. What gives you the right to just show up and film us?"
I looked at her with amazement and all I could think of was
" Umm… we were invited?"
She looked blank.
"This is a photo opp… for the media to get shots…"
"Oh" she said. "So that’s why all the cameras are here."
