Another one of those photos from my collection which the story behind it is long gone.
Whoever took this photo during the depths of the Great Depression probably thought it was just another day at another story and as a result never wrote anything on the back of the print. Alas as a result, who they are, where they were and why they were there is gone forever.
As a public service announcement, if you print out your still photos, please write on the back of them “the who, what, when and where.” The future will thank you when they are sitting down looking at photographs of a different era and trying to figure out the story behind them.
