Update On 1-800-TV-CREWS

February 3, 2012 forum topics
Following up on the previous thread where 1-800-TV CREWS owed me money from months back; I have been paid in full.

I got a call from one of the lead people at the service apologizing for what had happened. The "booker" I had dealt with was no longer with the company, and that may have been part of the problem with late payment. Whatever the reason, they assured me that such an oversight would not happen again and made sure I knew who to contact in case payment was ever in question.

Personally, I have no problem working for them in the future. They have been around for many years and are not popping onto the scene and running off with the money. Like I told them on the phone, if I bash you online for your shortcomings I am fair and will also credit you when you do right.

If you’re living paycheck to paycheck crewing agencies may not be for you, because none of the crewing agencies pay in 30 days. They wait on client to pay, which always makes me wonder what happens when the client does not pay them?

Anyway, I think you may get paid quicker if you "ride their ass", but that is not my style. Screw me and never pay me and I will spread your name around this industry faster than bird flu in China.
