With thanks to one of my readers for the tip, it seems that a TV photog has done something that is rather rare recently (even more so that he wasn’t a network photog either) – written a book about himself.
Jeff Scarborough of WNBC wrote a book in 2007 called “September’s Camera” relating his experiences covering the 9/11 attacks in New York.
Mr. Scarborough used to have a website that appears to now belong to a domain squatter, but his book is still in print per Amazon.
I may now have a copy in my possession, but of course haven’t read it yet since a book about the USS Samuel B. Roberts, Taffy 3 and the Battle off Samar has my attention at the moment. So there will be no reviews or opinions yet.
As for the rest of the known books written by/about news photogs that I’m aware of, they can be found listed here.
