Just ordered the PMW500.. have used it rented.. looks the best bet for my work.. PDW 800 tempting .. but prefer solid state just on the grounds of no moving parts and the 500 has quite a bit less draw on the batteries than the 800… not to say the 800 isnt a very fine camera.. the 500 is also quite a bit cheaper 🙂
