I’m starting to undertake the journey of doing some freelance work on the side, and I’ve managed to line up a couple of pretty good-sized gigs due to people that I know. I’d like to slowly but surely begin getting my name out there. I’ve got a good wedding reel from a wedding I recently did, and a rather unorthodox ‘general’ reel explaining that I specialize in storytelling with great natural moments.

Here’s my question: I’ve posted to craigslist and started to build a wee bit of a website via wordpress… where do I go from here? Can anyone point me towards a good resource which would explain how to get my name out there and pick up some clients? I know how to make commercials, but ironically have no idea how to market myself.
