Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time once again for the yearly Festival of Freelance Feeding Frenzy Festival. All are welcome, staffers included, cause that’s how we roll. It’s a buffet of breakfast bounty, all for you to consume prior to engaging the gauntlet of porn card slappers heading into the NAB Show.

The hotel formerly know as Las Vegas Hilton, 8:30am Monday the 8th. I’ll man my customary position…I mean location…at the slot machines right outside the buffet entrance at about 8:15. If you are planning on making it, post here so I can arrange a table area like we usually get.

However this year is a new tradition. Well, since we really don’t have any traditions other than eating, a idea for something to maybe be a tradition for at least several minutes.

I would like us to each introduce yourself to the group, a little about what kind of work you do, maybe gear you use and what you are looking for at the show. I know we all intro ourselves individually, but it would be nice to hear a little more from everyone instead of whomever is right next to me. I’m also curious where you see our business going, any ideas you have for building business, and gear related things.

There’s no rush to get into the hall right at 9, since the hordes will be amassed there at 8 anyway, trying to be the first to get to Sony and be the first to ask Douglas a question he will answer 14,736 times over 4 days. I always look forward to seeing each and every one of you, but really would like to know a little more as well.
