If you’ll be in D.C. on the 13th (or anytime afterwards)…the last of the overlooked TV staffers I’ve found who were inadvertently left off the Newseum’s Journalist Memorial will be going up on Monday.

After getting the ball rolling yet again by sending in newspaper clippings and a ND to contact to the folks who oversee who gets listed (and not as I found they won’t list soundmen who die alongside their partners), photog Bart Smith of WTVD will be honored 21 years after he was killed in the line of duty in a helicopter crash in a dark North Carolina field.
