I have a question about file transfers and compression settings.
This fall I’m shooting football for one of our local colleges.
I’ll be traveling with the team and will have to shoot game highlights in the press box and then get post game sound. I’ll have Adobe Premiere on a laptop and hopefully and ethernet connection from the stadium.
I shoot on a Panny 3100 in AVCIntra 50.
My timeline in Premiere is normally a 1080 time line.
Right now I render files out to be sent over the internet in H.264 mp4.
It makes a nice little file for what I need at the moment.
What can I do to make a smaller file size but still maintain quality.
My issue going forward once football season starts is that I’m traveling with the team so my time is limited after the game. I’ll have to get post game, compress it and send it, as well as pack up to make the team bus all in about 45 minutes.
Thoughts??
Thanks as always for the help.
