Okay, so I know that the C300 is quite popular and the current flavor of the month, but it is already two years old while the C100 is only one year old. Looks like a replacement for the 300 will come out before a replacement for the 100 will.

I am considering a C100 instead. The reason being that I already have an Atomos Ninja external recorder, which actually records better quality than the C300 internally. So, I am thinking that I could cater to clients that would want to shoot on the C300, but I could offer them 4:2:2 Pro Res or AVID codecs from a C100 instead, AND I would be investing far less money.

Any thoughts on this?
