With a the talk of 4k and 8k something caught my attention last night. I admit I don’t go to the movies very often. Last night we went to see Anchorman 2. I don’t know if movies are being shot at higher resolutions or the projectors are just getting better but I had a hard time paying attention to the movie last night because I was distracted at how bad the actors looked on screen. The resolution was so good that, even with makeup, the actors faces showed every tiny blemish. All of them looked horrible, and in some cases disgusting. It got me thinking maybe higher and higher resolutions aren’t necessarily a good thing. Thoughts?
