Here at NAB 2014 we got a chance to see Sony’s newest release marketed towards the DSLR video enthusiast.  It’s called the Alpha 7S, and it’s sure to be very popular. 4k is the buzzword again for this NAB, and Sony’s newest launch fits the bill. The A7s records 25mbps AVCHD along with 50mpbs XAVC S. The 4k ability is available only through its HDMI output – which doles out 8 bit 4:2:2 4k resolution.
