So I’m shooting a feature film in 4K with 2 of the Blackmagic production cameras. It was very late decision a week before the shoot and I really didn’t know what to expect.
For the most part its been good. The pictures are amazing, I think that must be a given, my main worry was the ergonomics of the camera but with the Tilta cages and ad on monitor it has been OK in the film set environment. There are still things about the Tilta system that I think are unnecessarily fiddly but so far so good.
