Watch the step up at ~2:55 from 0 to +75dB gain (eq to 4,000,000 ISO). That’s basically see-in-the-dark.

What was that unique Sony camera (early 90’s I think?) that the CCD block could detach from the body…? The model escapes me. This Canon camera reminds me of what it could be… although I’m sure why Sony didn’t continue that trend had something to do with market demand.
