DAY 1

April 7, 20002
Aboard US Airways Flight 615

I don't know what time it is.

I woke up this morning in Norfolk and it became quickly apparent that I didn't set my clocks ahead for Daylight Saving Time. All the clocks in my apartment were off by an hour. Not only was this confusing in my blurred morning vision, it also meant I had one less hour to get ready for the flight to Las Vegas.

In my rush, I set my watch ahead, but didn't bother with the rest of the clocks in my house. During the layover in Charlotte, I set my watch back to Vegas time (3 hours behind).

I'm now on a 4 hour flight west... it's 1am ET, I think. We'll be in Vegas around 11pm local time. How confusing is all that... I can only imagine what it's going to be like arriving home after a red eye flight from 3 times zones away and walking into my house to find all of my clocks on the wrong time.

Enough worrying about the return trip, I've got a convention to check out. I'll be crashing as soon as we get to our hotel, and all ready to go Monday morning.
