We saw Blue Man Group last night at the Luxor. It was an amazing show! The trio of bald smurf-like aliens demonstrated incredible sound and lighting tricks that were awe-inspiring and funny (sorry, I don't have any pictures, as flash photography was frowned upon).
After an action-packed week in Vegas, it's time to go. I'll miss the fun I've had, but I'm not going to deny that I'm excited to go home. When I'm fortunate enough to travel, I take full advantage of the experience, but nothing beats my bed at home.
We spent our last day touring around Vegas... trying to see some of the sites that we'd missed. First stop... lunch at the Stratosphere.
Top of the World dining at the top of The Stratosphere, an 1081 foot tall tower overlooking the Vegas Strip. As we sat and ate lunch, the restaurant rotated, ensuring there was never a bad seat in the house. |
Kevin Johnson "above it all" looking down at the NAB convention. It was nice to get away from all the technology and just see the sites.

Bryan Tulwits and Kevin Johnson leaning on the rail at the top of the Stratosphere. It felt a lot like flying in a chopper and getting aerials. The only difference... the experience was quiet, and the view wasn't shaky. |
